A Child’s Life in 1900 – Homeschool Days at Heritage Square Phoenix

Explore the history of Phoenix with your kids by engaging in hands-on activities. Our homeschool days are reserved especially for home educated families. These afternoons are designed for children ages 5 to 12, but children of all ages are welcome.

At our homeschool days, your family will –

Take a child-friendly tour of the Rosson House

Learn 19th century chores

Play classic games

Receive a historically themed craft to take home

Four Homeschool Days have been scheduled for spring 2016 and take place on Tuesdays from 1:00 pm to 2:30pm. We are also introducing a second homeschool visit titled Early Phoenix for Spring 2016. Policies – Please note that Homeschool Days at Heritage Square Phoenix requires a minimum of 10 children over the age of 5 to be registered 1 week prior to the event. Events with below minimum registration will be cancelled. The program can accommodate a maximum of 45 people of any age level. Cancellations made at least 14 days before the scheduled date will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be made for cancellations less than 14 days before scheduled tour date. Culture passes are not accepted for Homeschool Days at Heritage Square.
