Draped Hats with Designer Jeanne Bjorn
October 8, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
$160Draped hats are the most creative form of hat making. They are the “improv” of millinery, where we use steam, water and our hands to create shape and drape. Master milliner Jeanne Bjorn will lead us through the process of hand draping hats in straw to a finished hat in this one day workshop. Get inspired with some design ideas on our Pinterest board
Jeanne has a degree in Textiles and Fashion Design as well as training in millinery from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. She has worked as a Broadway costumer, designer for various labels as well as her own label sold through Barney’s and other stores. Jeanne now teaches millinery and shoe making nationally and at her own studio in Tucson.
