** Canceled due to illness ** Wet and Wooly Felting Projects for Families

March 18, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$10

We will reschedule in the fall.  Sorry for the late notice.

It’s Staff Development Day and schools are closed, but that doesn’t mean kids can’t learn! Drop in to The Bungalow in Heritage Square to make a wet-felted object.  Projects range from snakes to finger puppets. And it’s not just for kids. Adults can make a phone case or felted soap.  There are projects for everyone.

Shepherdess Celia Petersen will bring carded wool from her own heritage sheep and show us how to transform it into delightful and useful objects. Celia operates Chile Acres Farm where she rears all kinds of animals. Find her every Saturday at the Phoenix Public Market.

Felted soap makes a great washcloth!

No experience is necessary. All materials are included in the class. Plan to spend 45 minutes.

Adults, teens, tweens and kids 4-9  with adult
